Marketing Analyst

Santa Clara

Job Description:

  • Analyze acquisition performance deliver actionable insights and recommendations based on LTV and ROI projections
  • Proactively identify risk and opportunities for investment, constraint, or reallocation across the marketing channels
  • Outline goals and metrics for performance channels on different models such as CPM, CPC, CTR
  • Analyze large, complex marketing datasets in order to produce actionable insights
  • Analyze Web site behavior using Web analytics tools to determine areas of site improvement
  • Monitor data across all data sources, proactively identifying any accuracy issues and initiating corrective action to address and/or resolve any issues that arise
  • Drive new customer experience KPIs, metrics, tracking methodologies and data visualizations
  • Work with large datasets to investigate key business trends, performance, issues, and behaviors
  • Design, build, enable and maintain Tableau dashboards as well as other tracking tools and stories for both executive level and functional areas
  • Collaborate across teams, geographies, and organizational levels to develop solutions
  • Communicate findings and insights to key stakeholders and influence these teams to take action based on your recommendations

Requirements:

  • Expertise with Google Analytics to setup tracking and metrics and drive improvements for better users acquisitions and engagements
  • Expertise with Tableau to drive visualizations & industry best practice reporting; includes Advanced Table Calculations, Creating Parameters and Calculated Fields, Level of Detail Expressions, etc.
  • Exceptional ability to visually present and communicate data, analyses, and findings
  • Highly flexible, ability to execute well in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization
  • Great attention to detail to ensure highest level of quality/rigor in reports & data analysis
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle varying workloads with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proactive, organized, detail oriented, and quality driven
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems logically and systematically
  • Ability to effectively communicate and translate business requirements to technical requirements
  • Statistical analysis a plus including correlation analysis and linear regressions
  • Tableau experience required as well as strong Excel skill
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Mathematics, or any other business-related expertise
